A Temple Dressed in White: St. George Temple

The story of the St. George Utah Temple.

In 1861, Brigham Young sent 309 families to settle the St. George area. Intense heat, drought, flooding from the Virgin River and disease tested their determination and faith.

"A Temple Dressed In White" tells the story of St. George from the call of Jacob Hamblin to teach the Indians in the area through the struggle to establish a cotton crop, and the challenges of building the St. George Temple.
