Baker's Hawk: Unlikely bonds are forged between a boy named Billy, a reclusive old man named McGraw and a red-tailed hawk. Billy learns the value of friendship and with his father protects McGraw from townspeople, who disapprove of his outlook on life.
The Red Fury: When young native American Frankie is separated from his family, he is taken in by John Handley a man who lost his family years earlier. In Handley's stable lives a wild horse that Frankie names Red Fury. Both have restless spirits and must learn to let others help them.
